Home.

I wrote this in class last night on the back of a returned paper.

When I "grow up" this is what I want my home to be. Also, if I open a coffee shop, this is the feeling that I want people to have when they walk in the door.

Home is a place where make-up is not always on and being dressed up is never a requirement. You can be home alone or have old and new friends gather. Home is a place where if you break something, it is not the end of the world, even though you may be frustrated. The books have dog-eared pages and the covers are a little beat up. You can eat healthy or unhealthy food, but most importantly, it tastes good. Oh also, the coffee is not weak. Home has a "revolving door" where people are welcome and the food is plentiful. Home isn't perfect, and neither are you. You can come stressed, or joyous, broken or whole and that is perfectly fine. Home is not completely neat and the furniture does not match and neither do the mugs. Just as the mugs, and furniture come in different shapes and sizes, so do the people. Home is not always your literal home, but a place where these things exist. They can be broken into different places or all in one location.
