Leaving

I'm one of those people who dread whatever comes next. It does not matter if I have probably done it before, or loved it. I dread it because it is different. I don't particularly like change, however, I can deal. I may just not be excited about it. I don't like the process of leaving, once I am there I am fine, I just don't like the transition. Well it is transition time.

Tomorrow I drive to Camp Rockmont for my second summer on the Waterfront Staff. It is gonna be great. I love camp. I just love home too. In the last week and a half I have been to the beach probably more than five times. I love it. I love watching Nate and My Dad surf or sitting on the beach with my Mom or by myself. I love being able to go over to a friends house, or learn to crochet hats (I have made about 7 so far!). I just really wish I got more time. Rockmont is daunting when I look at how long I am gonna be there. Man 10 weeks, that is a long time. I go and then come back for 2 weeks and then I go back to school and work on getting 18 more credits. I'm sad I will not see my family for two months and then I leave them again.

Please pray for me because while I LOVE camp (just ask me about it), I also love home. and I am sad about leaving. I get this feeling like wanting to cry when I realize I drive away tomorrow at 9 am, while everyone is in school. Life goes on. That might be the hardest part of growing up.

Pray for Growth this summer
Pray for solidarity in Christ
Pray for conviction
Pray I love others well
Pray that I tell others about Him
Pray I love it again
Pray that I do my job well

Thanks
